COOKING & PREPARATION:

1. Thaw the broccoli: If the frozen broccoli is not already thawed, you can thaw it by placing it in a bowl and leaving it in the refrigerator overnight or by running it under cold water for a few minutes. Thawing will help the broccoli cook more evenly.

2. Boiling method:

– Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.

– Add the thawed broccoli florets to the boiling water.

– Cook the broccoli for approximately 3-5 minutes or until it reaches the desired level of tenderness. You can check its readiness by inserting a fork into a floret. If it easily goes through, it is done.

– Drain the cooked broccoli using a colander and serve it as a side dish or use it in your desired recipe.

3. Steaming method:

– Fill a pot with an inch or two of water and bring it to a boil.

– Place the thawed broccoli florets in a steamer basket or a heatproof colander.

– Put the steamer basket or colander over the boiling water, making sure it doesn’t touch the water.

– Cover the pot with a lid and steam the broccoli for approximately 4-6 minutes or until it reaches the desired level of tenderness.

– Once cooked, remove the steamer basket or colander from the pot and serve the broccoli.

4. Sautéing method:

– Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil or butter.

– Once the oil is heated, add the thawed broccoli florets to the skillet.

– Stir the broccoli occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent it from sticking to the pan.

– Sauté the broccoli for approximately 4-6 minutes or until it reaches the desired level of tenderness.

– Remove the sautéed broccoli from the heat and serve it as a side dish or incorporate it into your desired recipes.
