Product Recipe
COOKING & PREPARATION:
1. Boil Water or Preheat the Oven:
• There are two common methods for cooking frozen Brussels Sprouts: boiling and roasting. Choose the method that suits your preference and recipe.
• For boiling, fill a medium-sized saucepan with water and bring it to a boil.
• For roasting, preheat your oven to around 400°F (200°C).
2. Add Salt (Optional):
• If desired, you can add a pinch of salt to the boiling water for seasoning the Brussels Sprouts.
3. Add the Frozen Brussels Sprouts:
• For boiling, carefully add the frozen Brussels Sprouts to the boiling water. Stir gently to ensure even cooking. Boil them for about 5-7 minutes or until they become tender. You can taste one to check if they are cooked to your liking.
• For roasting, place the frozen Brussels Sprouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle them with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
4. Cook the Brussels Sprouts:
• Boil the Brussels Sprouts for about 5-7 minutes or roast them in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes. In both methods, the Brussels Sprouts should become tender and slightly browned or caramelized at the edges.
5. Check for Doneness:
• To check if the Brussels Sprouts are done, insert a fork or knife into one of them. They should be soft and easy to pierce.
6. Serve and Enjoy:
• Once the Brussels Sprouts are cooked to your liking, remove them from the heat or oven. Serve them as a delicious side dish, drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle with grated cheese, or add them to salads, stir-fries, or pasta dishes.
